Aldershot assistant manager Martin Kuhl expects Dale to make life difficult for his side when the teams meet on Saturday. Speaking to the club's official website on Thursday he said
"From the first team down it is important to ensure that we compete and learn how to keep hold of a lead when we get it. The players must have a strong, mental toughness and awareness. It is vital that we have that against Rochdale on Saturday."
"They are a powerful side who will aim to make life difficult for us as they did at Spotland earlier in the season. They will be strong and confident after their win in midweek. After our defeat at Brentford on Tuesday we need to lift the heads of the players as we prepare for the visit of Rochdale. We have good players here who, although some are disappointed at the moment, will learn from their current experiences as they develop."

Speaking to The Aldershot Mail after his sides 3-0 loss at Brentford on Tuesday 'Shots' boss Gary Waddock was less than happy with the attitude and decision making of some of his players.
" We need to be mentally tougher," he said. "But you can't coach hunger, desire and commitment, it's got to come from within. We're fine when we have the ball but we can't keep saying that we play pretty football. We need to grow up."
Not unlike Dale of late it would seem that individual errors cost Aldershot dear at Griffin Park with Waddock seemingly tiring of repeating himself "They were disappointing. We've said it before and I'm a little bit fed up by it."
"Martin [Kuhl] and I can't go out there ourselves. The players have to make decisions on the pitch for themselves. Good players make good decisions; bad players make bad ones. And at the moment we are making a lot of bad decisions."
