Manager Keith Hill has confirmed that Ashley Eastham didn't feature in last weekend’s matchday squad due to a calf problem.
The defender is expected to be side lined for around two weeks.
Hill told Dale PlayerHD: “He'll miss the next couple of weeks.
"We’ve got players who can cover that position if needs be. Matty Lund can play central defence, Rhys Bennett can, Scott Tanser can, Tom Kennedy has done and Joe Rafferty played central defence in his youth at Liverpool, so we’re well covered."
Eastham is the only player on the Dale injury list.
