Dale Women were on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller on Thursday night.
They were beaten 5-4 by Mancunian Unity Women Reserves which saw Shannon Gill grab all four of Dale’s goals, although the striker was sent off towards the end of the game.
Dale went into the game with a lengthy injury list that left them with just enough numbers to play the game.
They now face a busy schedule on limited numbers, starting on Sunday when they face Hyde United Ladies at Kingsway High School (OL16 4XA), 2pm kick-off.
