Flashback: Oldham 2-3 Rochdale

20 April 2017

Ahead of Saturday's derby match v Oldham Athletic, we take a look back at last season's meeting at the SportsDirect.com Park...

Ten man Rochdale were 3-2 winner over the Latics on Saturday 19th March 2016 , with Dale coming from behind to secure the points in what was Keith Hill's 400th game in charge of the club.

His side fell behind just before the half hour mark after Aaron Amadi-Holloway opened the scoring with a placed finish, but Ian Henderson levelled from the penalty spot after Callum Camps was brought down inside the area.

Henderson then saw red for a second yellow card on the stroke of half-time, reducing Dale to ten men for the whole of the second half.

However, Rochdale rallied and took the lead four minutes into the second half thanks to an own goal from Anthony Gerrard, before Camps scored THAT wonder strike to put Dale 3-1 up.

Amadi-Holloway netted a stunning volley to claw one back for the home side, but Dale saw out the game to record the memorable victory.

Lillis, Rafferty, Eastham, Canavan, McNulty, Camps, Rose,  Allen, McDermott, Mendez-Laing, Henderson. Subs: Hooper, Lancashire, Vincenti, Holt, Cannon, Syers, Hooper.
